Psalm 7 - Prayer to ward off enemies - God's Word for Today

O Lord my God, in thee meeting security. Save me, save me from all them that persecute me. Do not let them, like a lion, take me and rend me, no one can save me. O LORD my God, if I have done any of these things, if I committed an injustice against someone, betraying a friend, if made without reason some violence against my enemy, then let my enemies pursue me and grab! They leave me lying on the ground, dead, and dropped lifeless in the dust!

O Lord, arise in anger. and faces the wrath of my enemies! Get up and help me, because you exiges that justice is done. Gather all the people around you and, from above, reigns over them. O Lord God, you are the judge of all people. Judges in my favor because I am innocent and correct. I ask you hast finished with the evil of evil and reward them those rights. For you are a righteous God and judge our thoughts and desires. God protects me like a shield; he saves those who are honest truth.

God is a righteous judge; every day he condemns the wicked. If they do not repent, God will sharpen his sword. He has pitched his bow to shoot arrows. He picks up his deadly weapons and shoot his flaming arrows. See how bad imagine evil. They plan woes and live lying. They set traps to catch others, but they themselves fall on them. So they are punished by their own wickedness, they are hurt by their own violence. But I will thank God for his righteousness and will sing praise to the Lord, the Most High God. – Psalm 7
