Who shall separate us from the love of Christ - God's Word for Today

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all day; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. But in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8: 35 to 39

The Apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God is in this unsettling, and at the same time revealing question: Who shall separate us from the love of Jesus Christ?

The problems?
The hunger?
The difficult time?
A business that went wrong?
The necessities?
The death of a loved one?
Our death?

Absolutely nothing that could cause our separation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words for the eternal life. – John 6:68

There is no other way for us to achieve our true happiness or salvation. Our life in this world will only make sense if we are united to the Lord Jesus Christ. We are here to re-establish our union with our God of Love. Once this relationship is completely rewired nothing can separate us from our most precious, true and endless love.

The world is watching us. The carnal man sees us as crazy and failed before this society increasingly selfish, and violent material. But we know very well in whom we have placed our trust, faith and hope. We know and we have the perfect certainty that the target of our love and hope will never disappoint us. No matter where we are. Be there where He will be there to protect us, comfort us and save us from all works and evil traps.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. – Psalm 23: 4

That's why we are more than conquerors. For now we enjoy and feel the taste of our wonderful victory, which is the fruit and heritage of the powerful resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. No matter the fight, no matter the enemy. If we persevere in faith in God the Father in the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God we also win. This victory will only be a reality in our lives, with faith and perseverance, remain connected to the biggest winner of all time, the Lord of Victory, our Lord Jesus Christ.

A big hug and be with God
