Psalm 5 - Morning Prayer - God's Word for Today

O Lord God, hear my words and hear my moans! My King and my God, answer my request for help as I pray to you, O Lord! In the morning you hear my voice; when the sun rises, I do my prayer and hope your answer.

You are not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; you are not allowing the bad guys are your guests. You can not stand the presence of the proud and hate those who do evil. Just with liars and despise violent and false. But because of your great love, I can enter the courtyards of your house and kneel with all respect, facing your holy temple.

O Lord God, help me to do your will and make that your path is straight and flat for me! My enemies see that you are with me! You can not trust what they say, because only think to destroy. Their conversation is a soft flattery, but is full of deceit and death. Condemn and punish them, O God! That own their plans to make them fall in disgrace! Expels them from your presence, they often break your laws and revolting against you. But those who seek refuge in you will be happy and always sing for joy because you defend them. Those who love you find happiness in you. For thou, O LORD, bless those who obey you, your kindness protects them as a shield. – Psalm 5

A big hug and be with God.
