Free course: How to change your life using their faith – Lesson 3 – What is the supernatural faith?
Lesson – 3 – What is supernatural faith?
Supernatural faith is an integral part of religious faith. It is not based on anything of human wisdom; on the contrary it is foolishness to men and science. The supernatural faith is based solely on the strength and power of God. This supernatural faith does not come from us. It is a gift of the Holy Spirit of God. The supernatural faith is the faith that does not work with human evidence or material, it works only with the Word and the power of God.
By being united with Jesus we are enriched by the wisdom of God. Jesus is God's wisdom and power of God. The supernatural faith is the fruit of secret wisdom of God that He, through His Holy Spirit reveals to all his chosen ones. Our God gave us this wisdom for our glory. So he told us:
"What no one ever saw or heard, and what no one ever thought could happen, this is what God has prepared for those who love him." – 1 Corinthians 2: 9
It is this supernatural faith that has the power to do all things. Wonderful things as Jesus did when He was here with us. He even told us about the power of supernatural faith and how we too can have access to it.
10 – Do not I believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? Then Jesus said to his disciples: – What I say to you not say in my own name; the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth your trabalho.11 – Believe what I tell them: I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If you do not believe because of my words, I believe at least because of the things I do. 12 – I tell you that this is true:. He who believes in me will do the things I do and even greater works than these, because I go to My Father 13 – And whatever you ask in my name I will do, so that the Son reveals the glorious nature of the Father. 14 – I'll do anything you ask me in my name. – John 14:10 14
The supernatural faith is who gives us the ability to materialize and bring into existence what inda there. Only supernatural faith is who gives us the certainty that we have received what we asked. It makes us see the invisible. She has this capacity because it works exclusively as the Word of God. It is the Word of God who creates what inda there. Without faith it can not please and not get the approval of God. I can only have faith who believe that God exists and that His Word has the infinite power to do everything.
1 – Faith is the assurance that we will receive the things hoped for, the evidence that there are things we can not see. 2 – It was by faith that the people of the past were able to God's approval. – Hebrews 11: 1 and 2
Supernatural faith is so: it makes us see what does not yet exist. It makes us sure of the presence of the invisible God powerfully acting in our lives. It is through the truth of past biblical events that we can know the supernatural faith and have that same power today working with all the force and intensity in our lives, as happened to the heroes of the faith of the past. Faith shut the mouths of lions fierce, open seas, calms storms, sick healing, resurrects dead, dominates lions and bears, giant defeat, make water spring from the rock, tips fortress, brings deliverance, liberation, peace, makes sterile mother children, makes the weak strong, the sun makes the small a giant in the faith, makes the slave a respected ruler. Faith makes us mighty in God. Faith makes our God fight for us and win tough battles and numerous armies. All this through the supernatural faith in God's Word. The Word of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit of God.
How the supernatural faith?
In order to understand how the supernatural faith we will use the biblical passage that is in Luke 5: 1-9.
1 – Once when the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, I stood by the lake of Gennesaret; 2 – And saw two ships standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. 3 – He Entering one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land; And I sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. 4 – When he finished speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into the deep and cast your nets for a catch. 5 – When Simon answered, Master, we toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at thy word I will let down the nets. 6 – Having done this, they caught a lot of fish, so that the net was breaking. 7 – they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink. 8 – Seeing Simon Peter, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man. 9 – For the view of the fishes which they had done, they were astonished him and all who were with him – Luke 5: 1-9.
I am tired. I tried fishing all night and could not catch any fish. I am very sad and discouraged. I do not see fish in the lake, but God tells me to play the system at that place. Hearing the Word of God, immediately I cancel myself. Forget my limitations, my strength, my knowledge of the world and all my ability. I humble before the Lord and abandon my self-sufficiency, my pride and put all my faith and trust in God's Word that was sent because I know that for the Almighty God there is nothing to it impossible. Even without I see no evidence or fact, I hear the Word of God, to obey what it says, and immediately put into practice. The result is this: Glory to God! I get in my life all the blessings that through my faith and application in the fulfillment of God's word, now become visible. Blessing those that existed in the heart of God, and that until then were invisible to me.
We see a prime example: For this our second example we will take the biblical passage that is in Mark 5:24 and 25.
24 – And Jesus went with him. A large crowd went along and squeezed from all sides. 25 – there came a woman who was twelve years who had a hemorrhage. 26 – had spent all he had, in the case with many doctors. These they suffered a lot; but, instead of improving, it was increasingly worsened. 27 – She had heard about Jesus; then went through the crowd and came up behind him, touched his cloak, 28 – because he thought like this: "If I just touch his garment, I shall be whole. "29 – Once blood flow has stopped, and she was sure that she was healed. 30 – At once Jesus felt that his power had gone out. Then he turned around in the crowd and asked: – Who touched my cloak 31 – The disciples answered: – Do you see how these people the are pressing on all sides and still question it 32 – But Jesus He was looking around to see who had done it. 33 – Then the woman, knowing what had happened, threw herself at his feet, shaking with fear, and told her everything. 34 – And Jesus said: – My daughter, you faith has healed. Go in peace; you are free from your suffering. Mark 5: 00:25
I'm sick for a long time. I've tried everything to get cured. I heard someone say that Jesus heals. I fully believe that information. I strongly I welcome this Word of God in my heart. When I do this, inside of me is born faith. What is this faith that was born within me? Absolute faith that Jesus Christ heals. If Jesus Christ is in healing other people that means, if I believe He will also heal. Therefore I make a decision in my heart. I resolve to do a purpose of faith. And what is that purpose? "If I just touch his garment, I shall be whole" – Mark 5: 29.
Note: let us pause and we will better understand this part: "I heard someone say that Jesus heals. I fully believe that information. I strongly I welcome this Word of God in my heart. "The Word of God is all that comes from the mouth of God. The word may come from the reading of Sacred Scripture, the preaching of the Word of God or through a prophetic word. A prophetic word is the one that comes from the mouth of the man or woman of God. The prophet or prophetess is the person who is used by God to proclaim His Word. In the case of the biblical passage that we have just seen in Mark 5: 24 and 25. Someone had spoken to the woman about the power that Jesus had to heal the sick. This person told the woman about Jesus assumed the role of prophet of God and, because of this word she had heard, faith in the power of God was born in her heart.
Continued … That's exactly what the bleeding woman did. The bleeding woman had in her heart a purpose of faith. She said to herself: If I touch the robe of Jesus I will be healed. And it was. In this biblical account we see something very interesting and revealing. Who healed the woman? It was Jesus? It was the mantle of Jesus? No! Jesus told her this: You healed because you had faith. She was healed because she had had faith in the power of Jesus to heal.
The sick woman put into practice one of the many possible uses of supernatural faith: it has a purpose of faith. What is a purpose of faith? One purpose of faith is a solemn resolution of what you intend to do to publicly confess their faith in God and receive from Him what you need. And how can you be this way? This purpose of faith is something very special between you and God. In the case of hemorrhagic woman she set out to touch the cloak of Jesus. In the case of Hannah, the mother of Samuel, in exchange for motherhood, she pledged to give the boy to the Lord's service. In the case of Esther, she fasted and prayed for three days and three nights, in the case of Daniel he stood in prayer for twenty one days. Anyway it's something very special between us and God. Some people use such purposes climb the mountain to pray to God, to pray campaigns, fasting, cries, vigils, give offerings in church, do charity work and etc.
In our hearts we generate faith in the power of God. With our mouth and with our action we publicly confess that our faith in God's power, and so we took possession of our blessing. The purpose of the hemorrhagic woman took and then put into action, manifested and made public faith she carried inside her heart. It was faith in action. Hemorrhagic woman has the purpose to touch the robe of Jesus. She was in the crowd that the oppressed. Still, she responded, sought strength and courage within himself and was to fulfill what it had already decided to do to receive healing she so desperately sought.
Some people might say that's bargain with God. But the Word of God is very clear when it comes to this kind of question: Faith without works is dead.
14 – My brothers, what good man says he has faith if it does not come accompanied by actions? Does that faith save him? 15 – For example, there may be brothers or sisters who need clothes and have nothing to eat. 16 – If you do not give them what they need to live, no use saying, "God bless you! . Put on warm clothes and eat well "17 – So, faith is like this: if it is not accompanied by action, is dead thing. 18 – But someone will say, "You have faith and I have actions." And I answer: "So show me how you can have faith without it being accompanied by actions. I'll show you my faith by my actions. 19 – Do you believe that there is one God? Great! The devils also believe and tremble in fear. 20 – fool! I will prove to you that faith without actions is worthless. 21 – How is that our ancestor Abraham was accepted by God? It was for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar. 22 – See how his faith and his actions acted together. Through his actions, his faith became complete. 23 – So it happened that the scripture says, "Abraham believed God, and so God accepted him" "And Abraham was called" the friend of God. ". 24 – So, you see that the person is accepted by God through their actions and not by faith only. – James 2: 14-24
That's the big difference between these two kinds of faith. The natural faith that may or may not succeed, and the supernatural faith that always works. The supernatural faith, one that relies solely on faith that we have the strength and power of God. It never fails because God does not fail. God does not go back and God is not a man to lie. God's Word never returns empty, she always keeps everything she promises to do. The Word of God never loses its strength and its power. Everything in this life one day will pass, but the Word of God will remain forever.
