The prayer that opens the doors of blessings
God's Word for today we see that the Lord Jesus Christ taught us a very interesting model that prayer, with great faith and perseverance we must always practice.
Then Jesus said to his disciples: – Imagine that one of you go to a friend's house, at midnight, and tell him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves. 6 – It's a friend of mine has just returned from trip, and I have nothing to offer. "7 – And imagine his friend answer from inside, 'Do not bother me! The door is already locked, and I and my children are in bed. I can not get up to give him the loaves. "8 – Jesus said – I tell you, he may not get up because a friend of his, but it certainly will rise because of his insistence and give him everything he needs. 9 – So say: ask and you shall receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10 – For everyone who asks receives; those who seek to find; and the door will be open to anyone who bate.11 – Did any of you be able to give your child a snake when he asks for a fish? 12 – Or, if the child asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 – Do you even being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children. How much more will your Father who is in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him – Luke 11: 5-13
The Lord Jesus said: Let anyone who asks receives. Those looking for the miracle will find, and who knocks on the door of the blessings the door will be opened. That last part is very interesting. The Word of God teaches us that God meets the request of one seeking to receive something insistently. What is get something insistently? It is seeking with perseverance. You ask. Re-order. Ask again. And re-order. You ask to receive. The Lord Jesus is teaching us that He can and wants to satisfy the desires of our hearts, but He has a special pleasure to meet the person who empties and put it in the exclusive dependence on Him. This dependence is evidenced by the request made with firmness and perseverance. But because it happens so? It's for you and I have the absolute certainty that it was not our arm who achieved something, and yes, it was the Lord who has given us. So get to work. We bother our great and mighty God.
For example, you want to buy your own home. Do you pray to God and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you ask Him to help you to buy your house.
On the first day you make a prayer: Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, please help me to buy my own house. Lord knows it's been a long time since I have that desire in my heart. Dad, I can not stand to live for or pay rent. I'm tired (a) of being humiliated (a) and etc.
On the second day you do another prayer: Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hello dear Father's me again. Look Father I came here once again in his presence to confirm with the Lord that my request. Remember? I asked the Lord to help me buy my own house. Look Dad! I did not speak for the Lord? Just yesterday I was humiliated (a) once again … The Lord must see … That was an injustice … But thanks to the Lord all that has changed. Thank you (a) Father, for my new home. Thus far the Lord has helped me and will continue to help me more and more …
On the third day you do another prayer: Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Hi Lord, the Lord has forgotten me right? My heart is already full of happiness because the house that the Lord has given me. Father knows, in the kitchen I'm thinking of putting a closet so … In the room … Oh! In the room I'll have a very large comfortable sofa …
And so it goes. Will making his prayer disturb the heart of your Father. Do this. He is a loving Father. He will not endure to see the strength and size of their faith. It will do wonders in your life. Do it this way his blessing will come much faster than you think.
A big hug and be with God
