I’m afraid my mother died
God's Word for today we will see how we can learn more about this kind of concern, which is very common and natural, not only when we talk about our mother, but also when we think of all our other loved so dear.
Everything in this world has its time; everything has its time. There is time to be born and a time to die. – Ecc 3: 1 and 2
Unfortunately, this life, this is the only certainty we have: We're going to die.
Humans are like grass of the field and the full force of them is like a flower bush. The grass withers and the flowers fall when the breath of the Lord goes through them. In fact, the people are like grass. The grass withers, the flower falls, but the word of our God endures forever. – Isa 40: 6 to 8
And how can we work better with this question of fear of the death of a loved so dear? The best way to handle this is to get her mind. Even we do not know when our time will be or when it will be time on the other. One of the best ways to work with such concerns is to love your loved one. Do not get this kind of fear. Do not waste your time with this type of pre-occupation. The Lord Jesus taught us:
No thought because, for tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. – Matthew 6:34
We all have fear of losing our loved ones. The best way to work with such concerns is to love more each day those who are our greatest assets here in this world. When we do our best for them we're taking our supposed lives, future guilt or remorse that make the time of death of a loved one (a) becomes even more suffering. So we must always forgive us, do everything possible to understand each other, have patience, meet the needs, get closer, listen more, to participate, to share … Anyway! We must, day after day, love our loved ones as if it were our last day of life. If at any time your mind, thought or heart is bombarded with this kind of fear, do not accept it. Pray to God and ask Him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver you from all fears.
Be anxious for any reason; instead, they are all your requests declared in the presence of God by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4: 6, 7
I sought the Lord, and he heard me; He delivered me from all my fears. – Psalm 34: 4
