I feel like sin
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, it has become to them the last things worse than the first. For better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. It has happened to them what of the true similitude; Return the dog to its vomit, and the sow that was washed to wallowing in the lamaçal.- 2 Peter 2: 20-22
Lately we have seen many cases of people who are playing believers. People who claim to be converted and do things that embarrass even the wicked. People who, very wrong, seek to take personal advantage because they were freed, forgiven and clean the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. People who, in their hearts, since they feel saved and so they think they can do what you want. People who feel secure in communion with God and think they no longer need to worry about evil and the frequent attacks of the enemy of God.
But the enemy of God does not sleep. He is always wide-eyed and ready to bomb the children of God. A very frequent and constant weapon the enemy uses against us is to get Christians to feel strong, confident, secure, saved, superior, powerful and proud. On the other hand it also makes some Christians feel sad and the feeling that they are not living all that the world offers or who are leading a mediocre life and meaningless. All this it uses to constantly attack the children of God who no longer walk over the flesh, no longer walk under his control, but according to the Holy Spirit of God, and under the domain of God Most High. And that much bothers the devil.
Our communion not like anything the enemy of God. Because of this he insists on putting in our life the strong desire to sin. Actually he wants for himself, the honor and the glory that are dedicated to God. As we do not correspond to the wishes and it will, it tightens the siege against us and insists on putting in our lives the desire to practice the same sins again with whom he us enslaved, and worse, he begins to put into our hearts other stronger and more serious sins that we never imagined being tempted by them.
Another type of temptation that the enemy puts in our lives is the feeling that we are defeated before the world why we chose to flee following the Lord Jesus Christ. He calls us weak cowards, misfits, weird, strange, animals of the woods and many other derogatory things. All of sheer envy and jealousy. Very typical of his stuff.
We must never let us shoot down the enemy's attacks. That's exactly what he wants. He wants to make us humble and discourage us on the walk. Now! What we wish we could have if we already have the greatest treasure of this life, the Lord Jesus Christ. What could be greater than our God and his wonderful grace and eternal life with Him.
The enemy puts in our lives the desire to have more money, more power, many material goods, the largest and most expensive vehicle in the street, the woman or the man's neighbor, betray, to lie, to hate, to stealing, whoring, to view pornography, masturbating, having a sex life contrary to God's will, playing, drinking, smoking, taking drugs, to fight, to avenge … Etc.
The enemy wants to play Christians, especially those who believe they are saved, in the mud. He does everything and uses all that is weapon he has to achieve his goal which is to make the believer to sin, fall and then when you no longer have the strength to get up, leave the faith:
How do people who have left the faith can repent again? They were already in God's light. They had experienced the gift of heaven and received his portion of the Holy Spirit. – They had known from experience that the word of God is good and had experienced the powers of the world to come. – But then they abandoned the faith. It is impossible to bring these people to repent again, because they are crucifying again the Son of God and mocking him publicly. Hebrew 6: 4 to 6
That is what God's enemy wants. He wants to separate us from the grace of our God of Love, and thus play in the mud. The play in the filth and living remains of this world of sin. So we must cling more and more to the Lord Jesus Christ and in His grace so that we can always look forward and upward and do not leave never the enemy will bomb our hearts and ruin our wonderful walk with our God of love.
Who is the Lord of Life, the Lord of Glory, which could miss this person? What more could she want?
Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and know that you are the Holy One of God. John 6: 68-69
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35
A big hug and be with God.
