Fear not – do not be afraid

Fear not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you and help you, and keep you with my righteous right hand. Here they will be ashamed and confounded all who were incensed against thee; make will be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. Even those who contend with you, get them wilt, and will not find; and those who war with you will become nothing and perish. For I the Lord thy God will hold you by your right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I'll help you. – Isaiah 41:10 13

7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and told him the sight of all Israel, Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them; and thou shalt make them inherit it. 8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with you, will not leave you nor forsake you. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31: 7-8

Be strong and of good courage, and do it; fear not, nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with thee; 1 Chronicles 28:20

When a person who is very afraid is facing a new situation, usually she is surprised and very shocked. Because of that it ends up being taken by a sudden fear that causes her to be prostrate before that situation. When this happens, usually the person is taken by feelings of weakness and inability. Which of us has not gone through such situations and, if we are honest with us, we will assume that we also had fear.

However, God is calling us so that from now on we take a new attitude in our lives. The big decision we need and we must take is just fully obey our beloved God. We observe very well the importance of listening, trust and put into practice these wonderful teachings of our Almighty God.

No matter what the situation, difficulty or problem that we may be living today. We should never be discouraged or fail to trust our Almighty God. We must never doubt the presence or the power of our Living God and merciful in our lives.

Dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. 1 John 4.4

16 And he said, Fear not; for they that be with us are more than those who are with them. – 2 Kings 6:16

Note that, in the past, these Powerful words inspired and motivated many, many men and women of God. Yesterday's motivation is the same today. Yesterday's power is the same power today. Our God nor his word never changes. What our God and Father said yesterday to Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Joseph, David, Joshua and many other men and women, you are now also telling us.

Fear not!
Do not be afraid!
I am with you!

When we show fear or we prostrate in front of a situation or problem that comes only to indicate that we are still relying solely on our meager forces and with our limited capabilities.
What our Beloved God is teaching us is that, under any circumstances, we must rely on a muscle or our thinking. We must rely solely on Strength and Power in Him. That's what will make all the difference in our lives. That's what's necessary for us to see take place in our lives, all the wonderful plans that our God dreamed for each of us.
